The Maryland Coalition for Gifted and
Talented Education (MCGATE) is proud to
introduce our new website.  We have
included links to County Gifted websites,
County Gifted Advocacy Groups and
County Master Plans where updates to
each county's gifted and talented program
are required.

Gifted Conference for parents:

MCGATE is planning a spring conference
for parents of gifted children.  Please check
back for updates during the year.
The MCGATE Spring
Conference will be
held in April.
What is MCGATE?

MCGATE is a Gifted Education advocacy group made up of
educators, parents, students and other interested persons or groups.
We focus on public policy and educational practices that may affect
the successful education of Gifted, Talented and Highly Able students
primarily between Pre K and Grade 12 including those students who
may be identified as Gifted with Special Learning Needs.
